The tin gray pigment is a mixture of iron oxides giving a primary light grey shade. This pigment is compatible with all binders and all techniques, however it is not compatible with ochre or flour paint. In lime and dosed at 15% of the weight of lime, a fairly soft pale grey is obtained. A little 95° household alcohol will be necessary to mix it well with the water binders. This pigment is 99% natural.

lime black pigment

lime black pigment is an organic pigment fixed on a mineral base. It gives a soft black colour close to rome black, it has a high tinting strength and is compatible with all techniques and all binders. For its dilution it will be necessary to use a few drops of alcohol at 95° in order to favour its dispersion in your mixtures.

iron oxide red pigment

the iron oxide red pigment is produced from madrasah ores in india. Its colour is reddish brown/burgundy. This pigment is compatible with all binders and techniques. Equivalent to the ormuz ochres used by the earth and colour combination on the cathedral of bayeux. This pigment is dense and settles easily in the jars when mixed with liquids such as whitewash.

blackcurrant red pigment

the blackcurrant red pigment is a mixture of iron oxides and calcium carbonate which gives a purplish burgundy to old purplish pink color. This pigment is compatible with all binders and all painting and coating techniques. A dosage of 30% of the weight of lime paste gives a beautiful slightly purplish burgundy, if we dilute more for a whitewash we obtain a purplish old pink color. This pigment dilutes well in water with a little liquid black soap.
